Vision
The Lincoln Middle School Library is a welcoming, inclusive learning hub that inspires curiosity, literacy, and global citizenship. We empower students in grades 6–8 to become lifelong readers, critical thinkers, ethical users of information, and active participants in an interconnected world. Through diverse collections, innovative programming, and equitable access to resources, the library supports academic excellence, multilingualism, and the pursuit of lifelong learning.
Mission
The mission of the Lincoln Middle School Library is to cultivate a community of readers, researchers, and creators by providing access to diverse resources, technology, and learning opportunities that support student achievement and personal growth. The library partners with students, families, and educators to foster information literacy, digital citizenship, inquiry, creativity, and a lifelong love of reading. We strive to ensure that every student feels represented, welcomed, and empowered to learn, lead, and thrive.
Library Hours
Monday–Friday 8:00a.m.-3:30 p.m.
Students visiting during instructional time must have a pass from their teacher.
*With the exception of no passes needed during "Recess in Library" programming Monday-Friday 10:45am-12:40pm.

Our Commitment
At Lincoln Middle School, we believe that literacy is the foundation for learning, opportunity, and personal growth. The library serves as a center for reading, research, collaboration, and exploration, helping students develop the skills they need to succeed in high school, college, careers, and as engaged global citizens. Through meaningful learning experiences and access to diverse perspectives, we encourage every student to become a confident learner and lifelong reader.




Meet Our Librarian

Amber Anglada is the School Librarian at Lincoln Middle School and brings more than ten years of experience in library and literacy education. She holds a Master of Education from the University of the People and a Master of Library and Information Science from Drexel University. Ms. Anglada is passionate about fostering a love of reading, supporting student research and digital literacy, and creating an inclusive library environment where all students can learn, explore, and grow. As a bilingual educator (English and Spanish), she collaborates with students, families, and staff to promote literacy, curiosity, and lifelong learning.
